Rehmat Syed , a Pakistani kid made a computer software system to control your home appliances just with a single touch.

Rehmat had a great command over hardware and software although he wants to be an Engineer but what I think is that he is an Engineer. He really had a God Gifted talent.

With the help of Software installed in it you can easily switched off and on all your fans, bulbs and other electrical devices with not only a single touch but even with a remote control system or a with the help of mobile and internet.

Now there is the need of hour that government should help this child with finance and latest equipments in order to invent more pioneering devices.

Pakistan on Wednesday successfully conducted flight of its first locally-manufactured two-seater helicopter.

Three engineers from Rawalpindi Mujibur Rehman, Rehan Janjua and Shakir Ayub,designed the helicopter capable of flying at the height of 17,000 feet with a top speed of 190 kph.

Private sector engineers plan to go for serial production of the helicopter.
"We plan to develop the helicopter for ambulance and security operations", said Mujibur Rehman Khan, a retired air force officer.

"Traditional helicopters have a stick-to-head, a mechanical system, so when the pilot moves the stick a mechanical system moves the push-pull rods on the rotor system.

"We have a fly-by-wire system, where the control of the pilot goes into the electronics of the aircraft and then ultimately moves the swash plate or the control rod servos. It's like driving a car with a joystick rather than a steering wheel."

The helicopter has been built at the cost of nine million rupees. "We have a plan to build 80 helicopters, which we intend to sell to public sector forces," he added

Pakistani teenager sets new record for spinning a fry pan

Jawwad Iqbal, set a record after he spun a frying pan on his finger for 34 minutes and 30 seconds.
At the Karachi Expo Center, 17-year-old Jawwad Iqbal Gaba set a new world record when he spun a non sticky frying pan on his finger for 34 minutes and 30 seconds. He broke the previous record of 17 minutes and 47 seconds which was set by an Italian in 2010.
Jawwad broke the record in front of an audience at the expo center in Karachi. To avoid any distractions, he had synchronized his spinning with music on his mp3 player according to the new record time. After he crossed the previous record, he dedicated a song to his mother and continued spinning the pan. He continued spinning the pan for an extra 17 minutes so the record was not easy to beat.

1. Ahmad hussain is a world record holder of 412 martial arts punches in one minute, He has broken the world record of Anthony kelly(Australia)who hit 347 punches in one minute under the rules of Guinness Book of World Records(London,UK).

2. Ahmad hussain second world record is for the most martial arts kicks in a minut in which he hit 190 kicks in a minute.This record was made first by a Spanish player fabian cuenca who hit 128 kicks in 2001 and than was broken Ahmad hussain in 2009 who hit 148 kicks and after that by an indian who hit 168 kicks in a minute and later on was again broken by Ahmad hussain by hitting 190 kicks.

The students of NED University of Engineering and Technology have recently held a show for the launch of Pakistan’s first formula-style car as part of the Formula SAE Competition.
The Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineering) is an international competition between engineering students involving the design, construction and dynamic testing of an open-wheel race-car. The NED University is the first engineering institute in the country to have introduced automotive engineering, said an official of the university while commenting on the car launch.
He also said that being the pioneers, the students will be the first team to compete in an international competition of such stature which will be judged by the racing industry’s most prominent engineers and consultants, including Bill Mitchell, Doug Milliken, Claude Rouelle and Jack Auld.

Pak Wheelers says that :
“Our initial design was giving us a mileage of around 450 kilometers to a liter but we managed to improve that number to more than 700 km/liter after switching to a hybrid model,” said Faizan Zafar, a team member of Pak-Wheelers. “We have optimized the car according to the track,” Prodigy was our first attempt at fuel efficient vehicles and it was a remarkable achievement in many ways. It was the first ever hybrid car developed inPakistan. It received NUST gold medal for best project in mechanical. We made it to top 20 out of 85 worldwide participants and won Shell Eco Off-track Award.
In 2011 we are introducing Devrim II, a successor to the Prodigy and named after the first car ever produced in turkey and the whole muslim world; A tribute to those engineers and to the long forgotten glory we once had.
Some of the notable things about Devrim II are:

• Electric gasoline series hybrid vehicle
• Regenerative braking system
• EFI and VEMS
• Efficient Driving assistance module EDAM
• Independant 4 wheel suspension system
• Steerable lights
• Hydraulic disk brakes
• Carbon fiber body
• Aerodynamic design and light weight chassis
